Y-3 is a collaboration label between adidas and renowned Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto who is known for his avant-garde designs and silhouettes. The label fuses high fashion with advanced sportswear to create minimalist and modern designs.

An unconventional running silhouette, the adidas Y-3 Kaiwa takes on a deconstructed aesthetic with its mix of leather and synthetic materials, topstitching and exaggerated mudguard. The progressive design is finished with tonal branding on the tongue, waxed laces and a serrated rubber outsole.
